From a gig at Bar East in NYC on 1/15/10.
Zep’s Rock and Roll. Other than a major brain fart during the guitar solo (by yours truly) it sounded pretty good.
We’re back at the Bar East on 3/26.

We’re approaching completion of Keith Foley’s most recent recording project pending producer JP Bowersock’s return from his tour with Julian Casablancas. Here are two tracks. I play bass on both.
Again, both are rough mixes; but they’re close enough to being done to post here.
The first is a 4/4 version of Whipping Post.
The players are:
Keith Foley – Drums
Peter Russell – Rhythm Guitar lick
Maury Moscowitz – Rhythm Guitar
JP Bowersock – Lead Guitar
George Ennis – Vocals
Jeff Tepper – Keys

The second is a late 60s R&B tune called Can I Change My Mind.
The players are:
Keith Foley – Drums
Maury Moscowitz -Lead and Rhythm Guitars
George Ennis – Vocals
I’ve linked to my video host. Most of my music videos are there.
FYI, the host is Vimeo, and I recommended them. I use the free package, which suits my needs fine.
OK, the old tomappel.com is coming down soon and I’m learning to use the new blog software. It’s a little different, but not much. More videos and updates to come.
Love Me Like a Man
I’ve decided to lose my hosted site (TomAppel.com) for a free WordPresss blog. I’ll start building this slowly and make the switchover when it’s done.
